A stunning vintage yellow evening gown & formal dress from the 1950s.
There are 3 layers to this beauty- the top layer is a crystal pleated embroidered layer; 1 more full length, generous layer of ruffled & gathered yellow tulle underneath. The underlayer is yellow taffeta.
It has a generous full skirt - the hemline measures a stunning 240” ( at least!)
The strapless bodice is pleated tulle over taffeta.There are some velvet ribbons within lace channels running horizontally across the bodice. The fitted bodice has a sweetheart neckline with pleated yellow tulle at the top of the bust. There are 4 stays/bones in the bodice for support.
The dress fastens down the left side underarm with a metal zipper.
